By using minimal material while maintaining secure bundling, banding reduces packaging waste and cost while providing a clean, professional presentation ideal for board game card decks and standard playing card sets.

CHANFER's banding machine combines servo motor drive with PLC control and touch-screen operation. The system performs automatic card issuing and belt tying in a single operation — cards are counted, stacked, and banded without manual intervention. Photoelectric control ensures accurate dispensing and bundling, with adjustable settings for card quantity, material type, and belt alarm thresholds.

The machine handles a wide range of product specifications: thickness from 0.1mm to 3mm and maximum product size of 100x150mm. This covers standard playing cards (0.3mm), multi-layer card decks (up to 3mm), and various board game card formats. Multiple function settings allow operators to quickly switch between different deck sizes and quantities.

For environmentally conscious brands, banding offers a significant sustainability advantage over plastic-based packaging methods. The paper bands are biodegradable, recyclable, and use a fraction of the material compared to flow wrapping or shrink packaging.
