Candy packaging — also known as pillow-style flow wrapping — is the most widely used packaging method for trading card game (TCG) booster packs, collectible card sleeves, and game card multi-packs. This method wraps a continuous film around the card stack and heat-seals both ends, creating a sealed candy-style package that is tamper-evident, cost-effective, and ideal for high-volume production.

CHANFER's candy packaging line is built around a servo-controlled flow wrapping machine capable of producing up to 220 bags per minute. The servo motor drive ensures precise bag length control — set the length on the HMI touch screen and the machine cuts exactly where programmed, with no empty travel or film waste. A high-sensitivity photoelectric sensor tracks film registration marks for precise sealing alignment, even at maximum speed.

This packaging method is particularly popular among TCG publishers (such as Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! card manufacturers) because it delivers consistent, professional-looking packs at the speeds required for mass production. The candy wrapper provides excellent protection against moisture, dust, and tampering while allowing full-color printed film for retail shelf appeal.

The complete candy packaging production line integrates seamlessly with CHANFER's friction feeders, checkweighers, cartoning machines, case packers, and collaborative palletizing robots. Cards are fed and counted automatically, wrapped at high speed, checked for correct count and weight, cartoned, case-packed, sealed, and palletized — all with minimal operator intervention.

With up to 60 packaging parameter presets stored on the HMI, changeover between different card sizes or pack configurations takes only 3-5 minutes. The system also includes anti-misoperation features (auto-reverse when product switches) and no-film auto-stop protection to prevent waste and ensure continuous quality.
